Helping Adolescents Reach Their Potential:
The decision to hospitalize an adolescent must be made very carefully and only after less restrictive alternatives have been considered. Our programs provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for an adolescent's special needs.

The goal of our Adolescent's Program (ages 13-17) is to help adolescents move past problems and grow to reach their potential. The Programs are intended to help with all types of psychiatric and chemical dependency issues.

Chemical Dependency Treatment:
Studies by the NIH have determined that 85% of adolescents with chemical dependency issues have occurring mental health diagnosis. All adolescents are screened upon admission for chemical dependency issues. If chemical dependency issues are identified, clients can participate in our dual diagnosis chemical dependency program. This special dual track program includes special groups taught run parallel with treatment for their primary diagnosis.

Accredited School Program:
School is a adolescent's work and is important for teaching self-esteem and how to get along with others. Our specially trained teachers work closely with the adolescent's school and teachers to help maintain the adolescent's progress upon discharge.

Family Involvement and Support:
Parents and guardians are expected to be actively involved in a adolescent's treatment. Any successful treatment program must involve the family.

Family members will be asked to be involved in the assessment process, treatment planning, family therapy, family education, discharge planning and other activities.
