River Valley provides a confidential, safe, caring
environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive
self-awareness, social skills and personal growth.
Our inpatient and outpatient mental health services
are designed to help children, adolecents, and
adults having difficulty with psychiatric, behavioral
and emotional issues that have a direct impact
on families, schools, careers, marriages, and
relationships.
The treatment process begins with a comprehensive
evaluation to help diagnose any underlying medical
or biochemical origins of disease. An individual
plan of care is developed for each person. The
focus of treatment is crisis stabilization, and/or
resolution of one or two key treatment issues.
The length of stay in the hospital varies with
each person. Vista Health Services - Fort Smith,
AR, also offers day treatment and outpatient services to help the
individual transition back to everyday life.
